INFANT PROGRAM

Our infant room is bright and sunny with a loving, warm, home like environment that overlooks the playground.
  


At Amazing Kids, we believe that the early months of infancy are crucial in creating a foundation of basic trust and security.  We also understand that it is a new beginning for parents and encourage communication through a daily journal.  When parents and caregivers work together cooperatively the child will benefit from the continuity between home and care giver.    

From birth on babies learn to respond appropriately to others and learn to function in society. 

They demonstrate this through their social interactions, expression, persistence, and temperament.  Infant’s are actively involved with their world and are exploring it continuously using all their senses (seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and feeling) and are acutely aware of their environment. 



We believe that this is a time of discovery and making connections with their world around them.  Our  teacher’s  promote infant’s learning through exploration and by fostering their emotional, sensory, social, physical,  and intellectual development through song, play, reading and careful monitoring of infant’s needs. 

Our teacher’s are always watching for cues from the infant’s and repositioning them so they have a variety of sensory experiences throughout the day.

Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum that is connected to Massachusetts Frameworks and supports the domains of Early Childhood Learning.
