Our toddler/preschool room is designed to be a
fun stimulating environment that encourages
toddlers to develop socially, intellectually,
physically, and emotionally.
Our classroom is a place where children are
encouraged to experiment, develop ,
and strengthen their newly acquired skills.
Children at this age are eager learners who are
very curious about the world and are anxious to
explore. They are Amazed at what they can do
and want to do it themselves, but still need the
support of a teacher.
Our room is set up to allow the children as much
independence as possible while maintaining a
safe nurturing environment. The classroom is
equipped with low shelving, tables, and chairs
to encourage children to choose their own
toys.
Throughout the day ample opportunity is given to
engage in a variety of developmentally
appropriate hands-on activities based on
abilities and interests of the children in the
classroom.
At this stage of development, the
children become eager learners and writers and
they begin writing using repetitive circular and
angular marks, they love to work with a variety
of mediums, and begin talking about their
writing. One of our goals at Amazing Kids is to
encourage their writing through fun hands-on
activities and listen as their creative juices
flow.
Sometimes they say the most Amazing things.
